# Tested in China

> Live status of VPN apps in mainland China. Each VPN is tested every 2 hours with its official app from one China Mobile home broadband line in Zhejiang. Free VPNs are tested on their free plan (named "Free", e.g. "Proton VPN Free"), paid VPNs on a subscription we pay for.

As of 2026-10-06 00:20 CST, 2 of the 8 VPNs we test worked from China Mobile home broadband in Zhejiang.

The best VPN for China in our tests is Cloudflare WARP (11 of 12 connection tests passed in the last 24 hours).
